Technology

It impacts how students live, work, connect and learn.

Technology is a large component of our day-to-day, and it greatly impacts how we live, work, connect, and most importantly, learn.  We at Learning Exchange believe it plays an integral role in education when used appropriately to meet the needs of the students we serve.

As an educational team, we recognize the need to reduce screen time and turn the focus towards highly engaging teacher led instruction. For that reason, we promote the use of technology as a tool to enhance instruction, rather than serve as the primary method of teaching and learning in our Title I classrooms.

“The wonderful thing Learning Exchange offers is iReady (as an option for intervention curriculum).  iReady tests students at the beginning of the year for both Reading and Math, and figures out exactly which of their building blocks they need help with.  Kids can work individually on their computers or tablets on the skills they specially have trouble with.  iReady is the first program I’ve seen that addresses these issues directly and effectively.”
