Learning Exchange is seeking Wisconsin certified teachers to fill small group Title I interventionist positions within Milwaukee area non-public schools.
*Opportunities to combine more than one placement to create a full-time (1.0 FTE) position may be available.
Requirements:
- State of Wisconsin Teacher License
- Please note: a State of Wisconsin Substitute
Teaching license does not meet the qualifications for this position
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (Required)
Duties:
- Small group (6-8 students per group) intervention in reading and math, K-8 grade levels
- Lesson planning and delivery of intervention/instruction
- STAR testing
- Reporting daily attendance, progress monitoring, and communications with stakeholders
Work Location: In person, at one or more schools located in the City of Milwaukee
Qualified candidates will go through an interview process, which includes a background check.

Learning Exchange is in search of FLEXIBLE, ENGAGING, and ENTHUSIASTIC, STATE OF
WISCONSIN DPI CERTIFIED English as a Second Language (ESL 395/1395) TEACHERS
This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with qualifying Title IIIA students in push-in and pull out English Language Acquisition instructional services.
Job Description:
- This role requires an ESL teacher who can effectively work with qualifying K-12 English
Language (EL) students in a push-in instructional model to develop Language Acquisition Skills. - Flexibility in assignments is required–teachers in this role can expect to provide instructional
services to English Learners in 2 or more non-public Milwaukee Area schools, based on
allocations awarded for this supplemental service.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- ACCESS data analysis and use of outcomes to identify targeted areas of EL instruction
- Record keeping – progress monitoring using the WIDA Can Do Descriptors to monitor improvements and English Language Acquisition growth
- Daily attendance
- Collaboration with classroom teachers to share strategies and best practices for
supporting ELs in the content areas - STAR assessment for pre/post outcomes to monitor academic growth
- Small group instruction to support English Learners in content area learning and
English Language Acquisition
Candidates starting after August will be offered a prorated
salary based on the actual start date.

Learning Exchange Instructional Leaders/Site Supervisors are the on-location representatives of our company, and responsible for the knowledge and facilitation of all services at their assigned schools.
These key players are also responsible for training, coaching and supporting Learning Exchange Interventionists in their work with students in Title I and Title III instruction.
The various services provided by Learning Exchange are planned and coordinated by key members of the Leadership Team, in consultation with school leadership. The Site Supervisor’s role is to ensure the services are implemented in accordance with those plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education,
- Preferred-Master’s Degree in Educational
Leadership
- Required:
- State of Wisconsin Professional/Master Teaching License.
- Please note: A substitute license does not meet requirement.
- Skills:
- Flexibility in assignments,
- self-directed,
- able to manage multiple responsibilities,
- strong oral and written communications,
- understanding how to use data to drive instructional choices,
strong technical skills with - an understanding of how to use digital tools for productivity.
- Experience:
- Instructional Leadership in a school or district-level position,
- knowledge of Renaissance STAR and/or Curriculum Associates i-Ready,
- Managing teams in an educational and/or business setting
- Understanding Title I services in Non-Public schools
is a plus!

Learning Exchange Account Managers use their exceptional communication and organization skills to work with non-public school leaders to coordinate Professional Development & Family Engagement events using multiple funding sources.
Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning (initial and ongoing)
- K-12 Professional Development Planning
- Resource acquisition – researching products, obtaining quotes, establishing
relationships with new vendors, submitting pre-approvals for purchases - Managing an annual budget for multiple schools
Maintaining records/documentation - Developing relationships with school leaders
- Coordinating events with presenters, instructional coaches, and agencies to ensure
successful delivery of services
Qualifications:

- Current Wisconsin Teacher License
